On Tuesday, September 4th, the Nipissing District Branch of the Ontario Genealogical Society will be hosting a presentation by Ann Smith on the basics of family tree research. If you have ever wondered how to start your family tree or want to get a refresher on the basics of recording your information, this is the first of two presentations for you. On Tuesday, October 2nd, the Nipissing District Branch of the Ontario Genealogical Society will be hosting a presentation by Pam Tessier on the basics of family tree research. This is the second of two presentations on the basics and will be concentrating on the using of genealogy software to keep records, film sound, photos, sources data etc. in the digital age.
